A bridge contains of two or more artificial crowns. It is possible that a natural tooth is surrounded by two artificial crowns.
Reasons for tooth loss
Tooth loss can have several origins; an accident, poor dental hygiene, a weak set of teeth, or a root canal. as a result hereof it may be necessary to opt for a crown or bridge.
I don’t like the looks of my set of teeth, can I place some crowns?
As a set of teeth also has an esthetic value, it may be advisable to replace ugly teeth with t a bridge or crown.
Placement of a crown
In order to place a crown, a small portion of the surface of the existing tooth or molar will be removed. Then the crown will be placed on top, ensuring that the crown will not move or fall out.
Can you see a crown?
As the color and shape of teeth and molars differ for each person, we extensively research these aspects before making a crown. As a result thereof, it will not be visible that you have a dental prosthesis.
